General contracting

From the first cut to the last piece of trim.

I run the whole job, from new houses to remodels to building corrections: scope, schedule, the trades, and the finish. I do much of the work myself and bring in trusted subs where it makes sense, and I stay on site while it moves.

No surprises on the bill.

Tell me what's going on. Photos of the panel or the problem help a lot.

  2. Free estimate

I come out, look at the work, and ask questions before I price anything.

  3. Written scope

You get what's included and the price in writing before we start.

  4. Work and walkthrough

I'm on site overseeing the work, then we walk it together when it's done.

Who you're hiring

Josh Brigham, owner.

I've been in the electrical trade since 2016, starting as an apprentice and moving up to journeyman and foreman. I've run crews on multi-unit installs and large residential remodels, and I led maintenance and scheduling for an apartment portfolio in Bozeman before starting JMB Enterprise in 2025.

Since then I've added general contracting, so the same person who wires your project can build it. I use a small network of trusted subcontractors for the trades I don't do myself, and I stay on site to keep the work moving and the standards up. Outside the job, I'm a volunteer firefighter, and I also weld and fabricate custom steel.

Straight about scope

My own electrical contractor license is residential. For commercial work, JMB is teamed up with Brilliant Electric LLC, so we cover a broader scope, including commercial, with one call to start.

Common questions

Quick answers.

Can you come out today?

Often, yes, depending on my schedule. Tap "Schedule a service call today," tell me what's going on, and I'll confirm by call or text. If something is sparking, smoking, or burning, call right away, and call 911 first if there is fire.

What does a free estimate include?

I come out, look at the work, and ask questions before I price anything. You get the scope and the price in writing before we start.

What days do you do visits?

Monday and Wednesday through Saturday, 8 to 5 Mountain Time. Tuesdays are for bidding and paperwork. For anything urgent, call.

Do you do commercial electrical?

Yes, through a partner. My own license is residential, and JMB is teamed up with Brilliant Electric LLC to cover a broader scope, including commercial. Call or send a request and say it's commercial, and I'll tell you how we'll handle it.

Can you handle an insurance claim repair?

Yes. I do restoration work. Put the insurance company and claim number on the request form and I'll scope the repair from there.

What should I send with my request?

Your address, what is happening, and a photo of the problem. For electrical, a photo of your panel with the door open helps a lot. Text photos to 406-223-8717.

How does the $39 membership work?

It's month to month. Members get priority scheduling, a free trip within a 30-mile radius (discounted beyond that, depending on distance), and a yearly electrical safety check. See the details.
